REIKI  

Reiki is an ancient, Japanese relaxation technique that can promote healing.  In Japanese, it translates to mean "Universal Life Force Energy".  The "Universal Life Force Energy" flows through energy meridians known as "chakras".  It connects us to our divine source which sparks the creation of life.

It is administered by laying of the hands with a light touch on the body's energy meridians.  A Reiki treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through your entire being.

Reiki focuses on boosting your "Ki" or "Life Force Energy" and has been known to promote optimum health and well-being.

History of Reiki

Reiki’s origins began in Tibet…it was rediscovered in the 1800’s by a monk named “Dr. Mikao Usui”.  The Usui lineage can be traced back to Japan.  Dr. Usui went on a spiritual odyssey that led him to Mt. Koriyama where he discovered the healing formula in the Buddhist sutras.  This profound experience led him to the Reiki healing energy which he past onto the two other Grand Masters:  Dr. Hayashi and Madame Takata who brought Reiki to the United States.
