Regev’s
passion for the natural and organic started many
years ago, while caring for her husband, who had
multiple sclerosis. She opened what became a popular
health food store in Brooklyn, which she ran for 11
years. During that time she became an expert
in organic cookery, and helped her clientele with
nutritional consultations. Now, having moved
her business to Long Island, she introduces a
multitude of exciting wellness services in one large
center.
Still basking in its grand opening, Atlantic Nature
Wellness & Fitness promises to be a haven for
people with a wide variety of needs. With over
4,000 square feet, 11 treatment rooms and two large
areas that can be used for seminars and workshops,
this multi-faceted=2 0arena is constantly growing.
There are a wide variety of licensed and certified
specialists on premises, offering both fitness and
spa-related services.
Ms. Regev cannot stress enough the importance of her
Computerized Bio-energetic Assessment. “This
is done by putting the saliva through a computerized
test,” she said. “It determines imbalances
that can be caused by metals, infections,
weaknesses, allergies, mold overgrowth, and other
toxicities that can be found in the body.”
Once this is determined, balances can often be
corrected with dietary adjustments. The main
objective is to prevent things, to understand the
body.
Through
Identical Hormone Therapy, Trans-dermal
creams are formulated and customized for the
individual. Application and dosages are
determined on a “24-hour circadian panel.”
The creams combine several bio-identical and
nutritional co-factors allowing a first pass
delivery. Also available is Acupuncture and
Herbal Medicine, which are used to balance the flow
of life energy (Qi), to help the body stimulate
self-healing. When herbal formulas are
prescribed, they are custom-blended in the
center’s full Chinese Dispensary.
Among the spa services at Atlantic Nature Wellness
& Fitness are a variety of massages, such as
Deep Tissue, Neuro-Muscular, Sports Massage,
Craniosacral,
Hot Stone, Swedish, and massage with
Reiki,
Reflexology, which involves manipulation to
areas if the feet and hands, results in balanced and
rejuvenation. There is also waxing,
laser hair
removal and skin tightening,
facials, chemical peelings
for acne and wrinkles, fillers, and even
consultations with a Board Certified Plastic
Surgeon.
Customized nutritional programs can be created, for
weight loss and/or healthier eating, which include
professional counseling. The entire person is
addressed, including blood type, history, emotional
habits, energy center and more. Clients will
be taught what to buy, how to cook organically,
quantities to consume and what habits need changing.
Foods sold at the center are both
organic and
kosher.
